Volunteers celebrated for efforts to restore Ewart Duggan House

The Heritage Resources Committee celebrated another successful year of renovating and beautifying a downtown landmark.

The committee held a thank-you celebration to recognize those who helped continue restoration of the Ewart Duggan House Sunday afternoon, honouring the volunteers who worked more than 180 hours in 2014 and the donors who helped keep the garden growing.

“People worked hard all year planting and weeding and keeping the garden up, so we thought we’d recognize and appreciate them,” said Malcolm Sissons, chair of the committee.
