Wildlife Conservation at CFB Suffield

presentated by Dr. Delaney Boyd

July 21, 2016

Did you know that our very own Canadian Forces Base Suffield includes an enormous National Wildlife Area? Established in 2003, the Suffield National Wildlife Area (NWA) is one of the largest blocks of untouched grassland left in the Canadian prairies, and is home to a high concentration of at-risk species.

To learn more about this ecologically unique and fragile habitat, join us in the Cutbanks Room on the 2nd Floor of the Esplanade for a presentation by Dr. Delaney Boyd. Dr Boyd is an Environmental Advisor for the Department of National Defense, currently stationed at CFB Suffield’s office of Range Sustainability. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
