The Tone Bellydancers are bringing some winter magic to the Esplanade with a dazzling evening of entertainment full of oriental fusion with unique props and fabulous costuming from talented dancers lead by professional local instructors.

The 7th Annual Soirée is back! And yes, you can expect to be impressed with original bellydance pieces, presented in both flashy cabaret and gritty fusion styles.

And while Soiree’s main feature is the stage performance, the audience will also be delighted as they participate in judging the ‘Tournament of Bellies’! Created by Tone Bellydance, this popular tournament is an audience favourite that includes a ‘Shimmy Showdown’ and a ‘Battle of the Swords’. The competition starts with a dozen competitors, but only half make it through the first round, and there can only be one champion!

Audiences are always enthralled to see the bright colours and sparkling crystals of the Tone Bellydancers; at the Soirée, they can expect an up-close experience in the unique, intimate setting of the Esplanade’s beautiful VIP Black Studio Theatre.
