Explore your senses and challenge your perception with this unique immersive dining and art experience.

The Farm-to-Table Dining in the Dark experience is more than a meal; it's a celebration of human experience, a testament to the artistry of local farmers, and a journey into the depths of sensory exploration. It's an unforgettable blend of nature, gastronomy, and human connection, leaving guests with a profound appreciation for the flavors that surround them and the beauty of dining in the dark.

You will start your evening with a cocktail in the gallery where you will explore the inspiration behind your mystery menu, exhibition Tim Smith: In the World but Not of It. Smith’s photojournalistic exhibition will transport you into the lived experiences of six Hutterite colonies across the Canadian Prairies. Challenge your assumptions and feast your eyes, as these striking images will be the last you see on your Dining in the Dark journey. From here we blindfold you and whisk you away to our Studio Theatre. Once our wait staff have seated you and placed your three-course mystery meal in front of you, its lights out in the accurately described Black Box room (Studio Theatre). You can then take off your blindfold and depart on an hour-long culinary journey. Decide for yourself if the removal of vision enhanced your other senses and increased your gastronomic pleasure. Without sight, will you be able to identify the food and flavours served?

As the evening progresses, the absence of visual distractions encourages guests to engage in lively conversations, savoring not only the food but also the company of those around them. The darkness creates a unique atmosphere of intimacy and shared discovery, where diners are invited to trust their senses and embrace the unknown.

You Ticket Includes: One cocktail upon arrival (available between 7:00-7:30 pm only), gallery access, three course meal and a drink pairing.

Ticket buyers will have the option to specify the following at check out:
