Join our MH Interpretive Program friends Alicia and Mhairi at 1pm and 2pm sharp for a brief 15 minute exploration of geologic time from the ancient oceans, to dinosaurs, to the Ice Age. If your curiosity is peaked and you find yourself full of questions - Great! Alicia and Mhairi will be happy to chat with you further and let you get a closer look at a selection of fossils.
Now that you have the ground work, why not dig a little further with our excavation boxes? With these 4'x4' boxes, children will have plenty of room to practice their excavation skills together and search for replica dinosaur and other fossilized organisms.
The fun doesn't stop there, scientists have to have a keen eye, so be sure to hone yours with our special Dinosaur Bones & Stories in Stone gallery scavenger hunt, then round out your training by combining science and art with our paleontology inspired art activity.
