TIME Magazine cover artist Shana Wilson (Edmonton, AB) has partnered with the successful and empowering social platform and publication For Women Who Roar, to create this series of portraits. Shana has painted inspirational women from all walks of life, inclusive of all cultures and orientations, to be exhibited at galleries in major cities. The subjects all have one thing in common; the ability to inspire and create social change.
Artist Bio:
Shana holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (1988) from the University of Alberta and a Certification in Trans-National Business from the University of Hawaii. Based in Edmonton, Canada, she has enjoyed a lengthy career in the advertising, software and retail industries, including owning the Canadian rights to the luxury Italian handbag brand Mandarina Duck. A working portrait artist over the last 20 years with gallery representation in California, Shana was also the Executive Producer and Producer of “Diablo” starring Scott Eastwood, Walton Goggins and Danny Glover, which she sold to eOne Entertainment and is now in International distribution.
