Celebrate this Valentine’s Day with an unforgettable evening designed to ignite your senses and deepen your connection. We’ve carefully curated a special experience that combines the adventure of Dining in the Dark with the elegant charm of E by Candlelight.

Your evening begins in the Esplanade Galleries, where you’ll be welcomed with a cocktail and given a brief introduction to your immersive dining experience. As you savor your drink, take the time to explore the galleries, where captivating art and storytelling set the stage for an evening of inspiration. Let the thought-provoking exhibits spark conversation and excitement for the sensory journey that awaits.

Next, you’ll be guided into the Studio Theatre for the Dining in the Dark experience, where a three-course mystery meal awaits. Blindfolded and surrounded by complete darkness, you’ll rely solely on your sense of taste, touch, and smell to navigate each dish, discovering new flavors and textures in a way that will heighten your awareness and create a deeper connection with the moment. The absence of sight enhances the intimacy of the meal, making it a unique opportunity to connect with your loved one through shared experience and conversation.

After your sensory dining adventure, you’ll transition into the enchanting world of E by Candlelight. Beneath the soft glow of flickering candles, local musicians Kaylyn Légaré (violin) and Christine Bootland (cello) will serenade you with timeless classical pieces and contemporary favorites. The serene ambiance of candlelight and music will fill the air with warmth, connection, and romance, creating the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening.

Your Evening Includes:

  • One cocktail upon arrival (available between 5:00-5:30 pm only)
  • Access to the Esplanade Galleries
  • Dining in the Dark: A mystery three-course dinner served in the dark
  • E by Candlelight classical music performance featuring Kaylyn Légaré (violin) and Christine Bootland (cello), with intimate live music in a candlelit setting

Ticket Options:

Gluten-free or vegetarian options

Drink pairing preferences: red, white, beer, or non-alcoholic

For optimal seating, we suggest purchasing tickets together if you wish to be seated with others. If purchasing separately, please specify your seating preference at checkout. Seating arrangements will be finalized one week before the event and cannot be changed after.

Please note: The Dining in the Dark experience is a sensory adventure featuring a mystery meal, and as such, may not be suitable for all guests.

This Valentine’s Day, trust your senses, embrace the unknown, and celebrate love in a truly unique and unforgettable way. Let the magic of music, food, and intimate moments make this a night to remember.
